TTTI provides the hostel and catering services to its students. Army students get the accommodation and catering facilities as per the existing rules of Bangladesh Army. For civil students, accommodation in the hostel is free of cost and food is provided to them at a nominal charge.
Any technical / mechanical work is hazardous. There is a certain amount of risk for being injured during the training. In spite of having utmost precaution students are vulnerable to be injured during the training period. For emergency and first aid medical treatment both Army and civil students are given treatment from the Medical Information Room (M I Room) of Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Savar. Later on, basing on the gravity of the injury / sickness Army Students are sent to CMH Dhaka and civil students are sent to local Sadar Hospital. Civil students are liable to pay for their own treatment.
Other than the emergency case or exigency of service no student is allowed to go on leave or remain absent from the course.
TTTI is run by AWT of Bangladesh Army, as such, maximum importance is given on the discipline of the individual student. Very high disciplinary standard is expected from all students. Any act of breach of discipline is viewed seriously. TTTI authority reserves the right to expel any student on disciplinary ground.
